There is perhaps nothing I love more than scenes from the American West, and there is no state that delivers more of those scenes than Nevada. Road tripping by myself gives me a serious rush. There is this freedom I feel when I get behind the wheel, knowing there are exciting adventures that lie ahead. I felt so luckily to stumble upon the women’s cow branding competition at the 100^th Anniversary of the Elko State Fair. I always wanted to be a cowgirl, but I guess documenting them will be as close as I get. These ladies had some serious horsemanship skills. Check out some of my favorite pics below.
